Abstraction gives ease of use at the cost of maneuverability

An abstraction is a shallow description or representation of how something works or what it is. In principle, they work by hiding complexity; allowing our human mind to focus on the specific issue in question rather than juggling with unnecessary details. If the analysis on what is unnecessary and what is important is flawed, the abstraction becomes harder to understand and prone to give birth to inaccurate conclusions.
